May Woodham was born and raised in Germany. After studying computer science at college, she went to London and worked as an au pair for 3 years. Subsequently, she has done various office jobs and, over time, has turned increasingly to creative pursuits such as music, drawing and writing. The last has become her main endeavour in recent years. She wants to focus on libretti, lyrics and poetry but also tries her hand on prose (short stories and novels). Her interests are diverse: history, philosophy, language, science, art, nature and wildlife, and literature, naturally.
