Embodied codes (1)
Pierre Bourdieu's theory of practice explains how habitus, field and capital shape social action – anchored in the body, thinking and ideological patterns.
Using cuisine, bibliography and embodied codes as examples, it becomes clear how cultural knowledge is lived, passed on and socially differentiated in practice.

Innovative Abstract European Art is a fascinating art movement that combines various disciplines. It brings together elements of abstract art, contemporary poetry and practical sociology to create a comprehensive and multi-layered understanding of art. Abstract art plays a central role within this movement, particularly through colour mixing painting and conceptual art. These forms of art allow artists to experiment with colours and shapes and to express complex ideas visually.
The poetry that forms part of this movement highlights current political and social issues. It addresses contradictions and reflects on both critical and positive social practices. These lyrical elements help to place the artworks in a broader social context and encourage viewers to reflect.
Overall, Innovative Abstract European Art offers an exciting platform for linking art, society and science and opening up new perspectives. The Innovative Abstract European Art movement was founded by Roland Scheel-Rübsam in 1999. He is an economist and studied sociology. He has been exhibiting his paintings since 2006.
His first exhibition was the work Betende (Praying) at the 8th Essen Youth Art Exhibition at the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex, a World Heritage Site.
