The Adventure of Entrepreneurship

                            With this work, you will succeed in questioning the everyday understanding of the concept of crisis and in developing new perspectives on the interpretation of crises. You’ll realise how important it is to consider events and their effects in context. Furthermore, you’ll acquire helpful thinking and action steps that support you in collecting, analysing, and evaluating information as well as in planning and implementing measures.

By taking a multi-layered approach at the topic of leadership and its relevance in crisis prevention and -management, you’ll be enabled to transfer the maximum learning to various contexts. Both classic leadership in hierarchical corporate structures and lateral leadership from project management are brought into focus. Specific practical examples illustrate the influence on the success or failure of the achievement of corporate goals and thus on the company itself. These include the type of leadership and the type of communication, role clarity, (process) planning, prioritisation, and management as well as the assumption of responsibility and finally the decision making.

Finally, the procedures and examples used can also be transferred to your own company as a solopreneur or entrepreneur, e.g., when it comes to team building and -development. In addition to individual steps in the development of the company, the focus is on the entrepreneur’s attitude and mindset, especially regarding self-leadership, assumption of responsibility, and (self-)confidence.
