Was ist überhaupt der Unterschied zwischen einem Psychiater, Psychologen und einem Psychotherapeuten? Machen Antidepressiva nicht abhängig? Bitte was ist eine Tagesklinik? Vor allem worin unterscheidet sich eine Reha von einem Psychiatrie Aufenthalt? Im ersten Klinikaufenthalt stand der Autor Stefan Gatzemeier vor vielen solcher Fragen. Ohne direkte Nachfragen und ohne Selbstrecherche blieben diese Fragen ihm und anderen Betroffenen aber meist unbeantwortet. In Selbsthilfegruppen und weiteren Krankenhausaufenthalten war er es, der vielen Betroffenen aber auch Angehörigen und Interessierten solche Fragen beantworten konnte. Doch Stefan Gatzemeier wollte noch mehr. Unzählige Fachliteratur stapelte sich inzwischen in seinen Regalen. Sehr hilfreich war ebenfalls seine langjährige ambulante Therapie. Ein drei Semester langes Studium zum psychologischen Berater und Personal Coach rundeten sein psychologisches Grundwissen ab. In einfachen Worten gibt der Autor wieder, welches Wissen nach der Diagnose Depression hilfreich ist.
