                            In a society like Italy's, characterized by a strong impact of adoption and, contextually, by the deep-rooted and pervasive presence of a markedly familistic model family model, the question of the social positioning and the construction of the identity of adoptive families is certainly not marginal, since it now involves a considerable segment of the population. a segment of the population. Even within the limits imposed by the complexity of the subject and the novelty of the interpretative view, this work intends, therefore, to reposition the adoptive specific through the writing of the ethnographic field and the numerousinternational contributions of contemporary anthropology, in an attempt to delineate a different epistemological horizon on the experience - subjective and collective, local and of Italian couples and families.
