Emily

‘Emily’ is a moving, intimate and deeply emotional drama about love found later in life. It captivates with its long, tragicomic dialogues and its tenderly drawn characters. At its heart lie the relationship between Emily and George, the way they grow together, and the recurring motifs of love, time, mortality, nature and the starry sky.
The novel speaks in a clear voice of its own: earnest, reflective, poetic and deeply attuned to human connection.
‘Emily’ is the sequel to ‘George’; both novels are by Carl Geiger.
